APRIL QUAD LANDS
March 25 2010.

The April issue of QUAD has landed and in it a multi-coloured Lazer X6 off-road helmet is up for grabs in a free-to-enter competition.

We also take a look at essential core impact-absorbing body armour, designed to keep you protected.

The Suzuki LT-R450 has been a popular machine over the past few years years, but these days the standard machine may be a tad overweight and sluggish when compared to the latest out-of-the-crate racers. In the hands of Ant Barrett, the team at MKM Quadsport plus an RM-Z motocross engine, the quad, formerly known as the LT-R, has been reborn in a lighter and better-handling guise. QUAD has a chat with the guys responsible for the transformation.

On the racing front, an impressive line-up of hardy quad racers battled the freezing temperatures and lined up on the sand at Margate to compete in round one of the QRA Beachcross championship, whilst reader Edd Giddings and pals travelled to the French ski resort of Tignes, near the Italian border, for a spot of snow racing.

There was to be a full complement of columnists this month, but mercifully, with nothing to say for a change, Colely baulked and left it to the ultra-reliable Bev Barnes and almost-reliable John Mitchell, Oli Sansom and The Pieman to keep you abreast of their racing activities and antics. Meanwhile, youth scene regulars Ameelie Miller and Josh Waring are desperate to get out racing and Quad Club Corner details up-coming events from around the UK.

QUAD is available at high street and independent newsagents, via subscription by calling 01273 616040 or visiting www.quad.tv
